CamComply is a web-based compliance dashboard that helps UK businesses manage every legal obligation that comes with operating CCTV cameras — camera register, DPIA, policy documents, retention schedules, signage requirements, DSAR workflows, and ICO registration tracking, all in one place.

CamComply is built for UK SME owner-operators running CCTV — retail shops, pubs, warehouses, offices, construction sites, gyms, salons, care homes, and car parks. Typically 1–50 cameras, 1–50 employees, and no dedicated Data Protection Officer.

Why it exists

UK businesses operating CCTV face a complex web of legal requirements under the Data Protection Act 2018, UK GDPR, and the Surveillance Camera Code of Practice. Most SMEs manage these obligations with downloaded Word templates, paper logbooks, or nothing at all.
